The Krewe of Poseidon
This year's parade will roll @ 6 pm and will feature over 700 riders on 25 floats
The Krewe of Poseidon is a coed carnival organization dedicated
to supporting the community of Slidell through the promotion of
social interaction, philanthropy, and advancing the overall quality
of life. We were founded in 2015 by a handful of Slidell residents
who envisioned a revitalization of Carnival for the Northshore.
One of our primary goals is to provide the citizens of Slidell and
the surrounding areas with an exceptional parade indicative of the
traditions and history of New Orleans Mardi Gras.
