Inspired by Bacchus, the father of all super krewes,
the creators of 'titRəx asked: in an age when super krewes
are setting the bar for larger and larger spectacles, when route
consolidation has resulted in epic evenings of parade upon parade,
when the size and velocity of throws has become at times physically
hazardous to the recipients, could New Orleans not benefit from
one krewe that takes the opposite approach?
The parade route will be the same as in past years — the famous
tour de force. Beginning on the neutral ground of St. Roch Avenue
at Marais Street, rolling out promptly at 4:30pm. The route goes
to St. Claude, then Music Street, down to Franklin, right on Royal
then up to Mandeville, Burgundy, Marigny and ends at the All Ways
Lounge. |
